Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Pyramid Model Explained #3508907 (License: Personal Use)

This 3-tier pyramid represents the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), a data-driven framework for delivering differentiated instruction and interventions. Tier 1 (red, 80%) provides universal core classroom instruction for all students; Tier 2 (yellow, 15%) offers targeted small-group support for those needing extra help; Tier 3 (green, 5%) delivers intensive, individualized intervention for students with significant challenges. Each tier builds upon the previous, ensuring efficient resource allocation and responsive teaching.

Used in education policy, teacher training, and school improvement resources to explain RTI/MTSS frameworks; matches user intent for educators seeking visual models of differentiated instruction, intervention strategies, or school-wide support systems.
