Minnesota Twins Logo History: 1961 Milwaukee-St. Paul Collaboration Design #179026 (License: Personal Use)

This iconic 1961 illustration commemorates the formation of the Minnesota Twins when the Washington Senators relocated to Minneapolis-St. Paul. The two cartoon players-one representing Milwaukee (with “M” on jersey) and the other St. Paul (with “S”)-shake hands above the original “TC” Twins logo, reflecting the joint regional identity. The design blends mid-century sports branding with civic pride, using bold red-and-white uniforms and expressive caricature style.

Used in historical retrospectives, team anniversary features, museum exhibits, and fan education content about MLB expansion and relocation history; targets fans seeking origin stories and vintage baseball memorabilia.
