The Black Cauldron - Taran and Hen Wen in the Enchanted Forest Scene #1433759 (License: Personal Use)

In this classic frame from Disney’s 1985 animated film *The Black Cauldron*, protagonist Taran hides behind dense undergrowth alongside Hen Wen-the oracular pig magically disguised as a white horse-both wide-eyed with alarm. The moody forest setting, rich with shadowy trees and vibrant ferns, evokes the perilous magic of the land of Prydain. Their exaggerated expressions and tight framing heighten the tension of their covert mission against the Horned King’s forces.
