Ole Miss Rebels Mascot - Colonel Reb Logo History & Design #3414520 (License: Personal Use)

This stylized illustration depicts Colonel Reb, the former official mascot of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), rendered in bold red, white, and navy blue. The character is portrayed as an elderly, dignified Southern gentleman with a prominent white beard, wearing a wide-brimmed red cowboy hat and a red jacket with a bow tie. Though retired from official use in 2010 due to concerns over historical connotations, the image persists in alumni memorabilia and historical contexts.

This image is commonly used on university heritage pages, sports history archives, merchandise retrospectives, and fan forums discussing Ole Miss traditions. It serves users seeking information about the evolution of college mascots, Southern iconography, or NCAA branding controversies.
