Blue Lakes Outhouse - Vintage Forest Restroom in Sierra Nevada #3510011 (License: Personal Use)

This weathered wooden outhouse, marked “BLUE LAKES” on a hand-painted plank, sits amid dense pine forest, its open door revealing a white toilet seat over a simple pit. The walls are adorned with faded landscape photos and signs-including a stern “NO DUMPING ALLOWED” notice and a trespass warning-adding character and humor to this remote wilderness facility. Built with reclaimed planks and a corrugated metal roof, it embodies rugged, off-grid mountain life.

Used in travel blogs, national forest guides, or outdoor adventure sites to illustrate backcountry amenities, historical trail infrastructure, or humorous wilderness experiences; matches user intent for hiking prep, scenic photography, or rustic tourism content.
