Dorothy’s Slipper Collection: A Humorous Take on Iconic Footwear #1940544 (License: Personal Use)

This black-and-white editorial cartoon by Mark Anderson humorously reimagines Dorothy Gale in her senior years, standing before a vast wardrobe filled with slippers named after precious stones. The punchline plays on the iconic ruby slippers while poking fun at consumerism, nostalgia, and aging fandoms. The signature “Dorothy - The Later Years” adds a layer of gentle irony to the scene.
